Hmmm - I don't know any drummers, but a friend of mine gave me this rhythm machine thingy with about 20 sounds. You can have four up to use at a time. I am going to give that a try - just for certain emphasis, not for every song.

Most of my songs are acoustic/folky/easy listening, so I am not concerned about a R&R feel (although one or two would have been better with a R&R sound, maybe). I do have a flute solo in one, and I was thinking about a sax solo in another and a clarinet (or oboe -- more haunting) solo in a third. I know one guy who plays all of these instruments (except the oboe).
