Default Beneteau 000c Bulbinga-Traded

I know a thing or two about this guitar. I should--I've owned it on three separate occasions and wish I could keep it now, but the dreaded GAS has risen it's ugly head and I've been offered a great deal on a dream guitar. So it's last one in--first one out. It plays effortlessly and has a beautiful rich and balanced sound.

I am somewhat conservative with my ratings, but I would give this one an Excellent -. There is some tiny bubbling near the back center strip which was there the first time I owned it--more than five years ago--as is stable. A few minute marks around the sound hole that can only be seen in the right light and at the correct angle. In short, it has been played, but pretty much babied, as an instrument of this quality should be.

Marc's base price is $7000. Add $500 for Bulbinga; add $300 for cutaway; add $150 for pyramid bridge; add $100 for age toner; add $350 for K & K Trinity Pro pickup (installed); add +/- $400 for Ameritage case and you would be north of $8500.00 for this same instrument and looking at a two year plus wait to get it!! Save yourself a lot of time and five thousand bucks.

Asking $3650.00 NOW Shipped CONUS AND LISTENING TO REASONABLE OFFERS. Buyers fees, if any, are responsibility of the buyer. Open to trades for small acoustic or electric with at least $1000.00 cash component.

Specs:

000c 12 fret cutaway
Quilted Bulbinga back and sides
Silky Sitka top with aging toner
Ebony fretboard
1 13/16 nut
2 5/16 saddle spacing
Ebony tuners
Pyramid bridge
Ameritage case - excellent + condition
Pickup: K & K Trinity Pro
Pickguard: No

My table is not as pretty as Mike's, but my setting is more bucolic.

I would wager it's a K&K Trinity.

Smile This is a KILLER.

I owned it too, and would still if not for the slightly wide shoulders on the neck. The neck is slim, but my small old hands could not adjust well.

Sound is OUTSTANDING (in Frank's field). Hahahahaha. And it now has a much nicer case than it had... and a killer pup too!

Awesome gentleman and seller!

Fine FINE AXE.

go for it. You will dig it

Paul

Thanks Todd. I was hoping someone more knowledgeable than myself would speak up! Previous owner was nice enough to reach out and confirm he had this installed. Unfortunately he is no longer able to play and put this beauty back on the market.

Thank you, Paul. I have included some fresh information. After some research, this is REALLY a fantastic deal for someone on a fantastic guitar.

This is a tremendous deal.

I am a former owner of this guitar. There have only been a few guitars that I really missed when gone, and this is one of them.

If I did not have a couple very similar guitars right now, I would have already bought this baby.

I have enjoyed every Beneteau I have played but this one was my favorite.

You cannot go wrong with this guitar, or in dealing with Frank.

Thanks Rob. It's getting some interest, but still available.

Cows ARE included--but you must pick them up late at night--and be very, very quiet.

I’ve had a Beneteau since 2003 and it’s a killer axe in every way. If this one had a smaller nut width I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to pull the trigger...great guitar and the price is approaching ridiculous!

Tried to get by to see this beauty while in the area to see The Traveling Ones play in Asheville Sunday evening, but despite how accommodating Frank has been, just haven't been able to work a visit into the schedule. Seeing this guitar and meeting frank was a high priority for me, but the trip isn't just about me. Can't imagine this guitar will be here the next time I come visit in a few months. In fact, I can't imagine why it is still here at all.

Thanks to Frank,

Jeff

Thanks Jeff. We'll make it happen next time you're in the area. I played the 000c for a while yesterday and was again reminded of just how good this guitar is. Listening to reasonable offers and some trades + cash. Happy Memorial Day folks.
