D'Addario micro headstock tuner. Love how compact and low profile it is.

My Seagulls usually wear D'Addario EJ-16s, but I grabbed a couple sets of Strings By Mail PB lights to try out...

Got a new Collings CJ35, so I bought a wooden stand, capo for a thicker neck, Collings picks and a Collins shirt and cap for me.

A couple of beautiful, all handcrafted leather straps from Heistercamp. They should last a lifetime.

I discovered Designacable and have been replacing all of the leads in my live solo set up with custom made stuff so that there's no excess cable hanging down when I rig my Fishman Expand unit on the mic stand, and my DI's on the mount at the base of the stand. All Neutrik connectors and good cabling.

My purchases in the last few weeks have been
* a Schubb S1 - which is light years better than the old capo I had that wasn't pressing down on the Es any more. The only bummer is I need two hands to put it in place
* some ebony pins for my OM to replace the plastic ones
* Dunlop 65 and Ax Wax

Bought some unbleached bone nuts and saddles , 10 packs of each ... Also some pickguard material ... This will be used for an Alvarez Md60bg , I plan on doing a thorough setup with the a new nut and saddle , also plan on making a Guild shape pickguard for it , if I end up liking the guitar more after I get it all setup better , if I don't I'll just sell it . I could of just sanded down the saddle a tad bit , but I didn't like how the nut seemed unevenly sanded on one side from the factory so I got some new stuff coming to mess around with . May get some nut files to will see ...

I received in the mail a new set of Gotoh SE-700, Gold tuners for my Eastman E40-0M to replace the stock cheaper chrome Gotoh tuners. Unfortunately they were only an almost fit. The bottom holes were perfect but the top screw holes were about 1.5 mm off. I filled the old holes (toothpikcs were a perfect fit) then drilled and installed the tuners and bushings. And Boy do they look great on an already great looking and sounding guitar.

A SageWork Umbra guitar support. With a NC finish on my Cervantes I didn't want to risk using my Neck-Up with suction cups.

Now I'm buying finger and thumb picks in a bit of a shark feeding frenzy

I just ordered some backups to the picks I found that I really feel comfortable with

Not everyone likes an unwound/plain 3rd string, but I do. As a rock and blues electric player for over half a century, that style remains embedded in my acoustic playing with lots of aggressive note bending. Of course, I use a B and G compensated nut for intonation on all my acoustics including the newest wooden box. Easily done for any acoustic. I get a Graph Tech Tusq nut, carefully sand the bottom flat (in a flat vise) to achieve the proper height, then file it 25% thinner at the base to fit into the extra-narrow bridge slot of an Eastman AC422CE.

Oh yeah, and a pack of Dunlop .73mm yellow picks, keeping a couple in those little pockets of all my shorts and jeans, and a few spares in the wallet. Just in case.
