Nice Roy, congrats, the 714 is a good one. I was a half inch from buying a 714ce, but I fell for the Avalon instead.

Congrats. But is that why I see your J45 listed? I don’t know about that.

You’re gonna love that guitar. I’ve demo’ed several V-brace Taylors and the 714 and 514 were the standouts of the bunch to me.

Well that’s one way to take you mind off of the wait.........

How long has it been in transit and we’re did it come from. I have a guitar that has been in customs for 9 days and this morning I got the first update that it passed though the Chicago USPS facility.

Congrats and look forward to pics and a review

I’ve got a Rainsong incoming today. No waiting for me! Plus, I live in south Florida and it’s a chilly 64 degrees today, so never much of a worry anyway.

I received my D-28 just yesterday, only held out for 6 hours before unboxing it, though I did wait another two hours before cracking the case.

Staring at the box I was reminded of the monolith in "2001 A Space Odyssey".

Not me, I love deferred gratification.

I let mine sit 3 hours in the box and another 2 in the case before I opened it yesterday. Kept singing one of my favorite Tom Petty songs...

I see that Rev Roy hasn't checked in so either he is enjoying the new guitar too much to check in with us or that dental appointment didn't go well. Let's hope it is the former!

Best,
Jayne
