Default Strumming pattern 1+2+3+1+2+1+2+3+1+2?

This
Strumming pattern 1+2+3+1+2+1+2+3+1+2
is the the strumming pattern for "Be Good" by Waxahatchee here https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab...chords_1231169

Never seen a strumming pattern written like this... can anyone interpret this for me? Thanks!

It's simply wrong. It looks as if it's suggesting the song is in 5/4 time (1-2-3-1-2), but it isn't, it's in standard 4/4.

The unusual thing about the strumming pattern is it seems to be a relentless DUDUDUDU all the way, every upstroke played, which does make the rhythm a little hard to differentiate at first. Nice song though.

Moral: don't trust the internet.

I also thought it was 5/4 because of the way it was written but then I listened to the song and it’s d u d d u d.

Sounds to me like dudududu, in the verse anyway, but it hardly matters. I mean, there's no right answer, and we can each play it as we hear it. It's the same song.

Thanks! Much appreciated... thought there was some strumming tabs I had not yet encountered.
