I just bought my 2nd Larrivee, this time their dread. Absolutely, they are amazing guitars with almost unlimited tonal possibilities and they do what they are made to do, for each build line, very well. The L shape does a mix of fingerstyle and strum well, with a punchy bass. The Dreads thunder like a motorcycle when you hit them hard but you can coax really sweet piano like tones from them.

The OM series again, does versatility, orchestral is the right word for it.

Welcome to the forum and to the Larrivee family. It really is an awesome guitar.

For pickups, I have heard the Baggs M1 Active is the way to go for these.
