Timeless indeed - seems like the love for Taylor's has diminished somewhat....!

Out of all guitars I've ever played including usual Martins, Taylors, Gibsons and others it's a Gibson Hummingbird TV I liked the most, which I couldn't resist not to own.

That I've played/own: My 2009 Goodall Brazilian/Adirondack CJc. I describe it as a "choir of angels". Unfortunately, I don't have nearly the talent as a musician to do this incredible guitar justice!

(Wow! As Monsum pointed out, this thread is 13 years old! That's pretty impressive!)

Not only is it superior in tone, but it's also got rhinestones adorning the top and back, which is difficult to find. Nearly impossible, actually. Why on earth do most manufacturers neglect elegant appointments like that? That's what initially attracted me to this magical instrument, how classy it was. There was another one which I considered also, which had multicolored gems on the headstock, but after playing them both, the Esteban was the clear winner.

Sometimes when I am performing with my beloved Esteban, I notice other guitar players will point and laugh. How gratifying is THAT?? My playing, combined with this peerless guitar, brings them such sonic joy they laugh with glee. Now that...is the sign of a master instrument.

Is it any wonder that nearly all of the six Amazon reviews for this guitar gave it 5 stars?

(it also came with instructional DVD's.That's rare too)
Sorry but this response was worth resurrecting a 13 year old thread .. ha thx
