Default The Story of "Take it Easy"

Here's a short video with Jackson Browne about how he and Glenn Frey finished the iconic song "Take it Easy". It includes a great acoustic performance of the song with virtuoso David Lindley. Gotta love the '70's!

Wink

I needed that. The song should be required listening whenever one has a guitar shipped.

triple split saddle bridge on that white dread he plays in the green room....anyone know what the guitar is? Looks like a takamine from the shape of the headstock and some other appointments. I don't think of him as being one to play Takamine, but in the 80s they were pushing them on some of the SOCAL crowd and obvuiously the Eagles famously all played them for decades. Obviously he's got one of his Smecks in the other shot from Hoarders ;-)

Thanks for posting. That is one of my all-time favorite songs.

And, is there anything with strings Lindley can't play?

Can he play this guitar in this video below? Yes, definitely. Can he get through this great WZ tune on guitar? Not so much...and he's not happy about it lol! (skip to about 3:35)
