Hey Skip, I knew you’re a fan of Brook guitars, and I’ve been waiting for you to chime in! They are lovely guitars indeed, the store I purchased my Lamorna from (in England, of course) had eight to choose from, including a beautiful Lyn and a Clyst, both in figured mahogany - stunning guitars, but the OM-style of the Lamorna was what I was looking for.

The guys at Brook are very kind and helpful - I shot a whole pile of questions off by email, and they came back right away with full and detailed answers. Brilliant!

And you’re right about their pricing, very reasonable for such high-quality hand-built instruments. I’m a very happy bunny!

Good luck with your search for a second Brook.

How would you compare the tone of brook guitsrs to guitars made by andy Manson? I understand that Manson trained the brook luthiers originally and that they were supposed to build Manson guitars originally but that venture fell through and so brook guitsrs was born.

Sorry, no idea, I’ve never played a Manson - either acoustic or electric.

Here’s the Brook story, from their website... https://www.brookguitars.com/about.html
