Default Short rod piezo

Anyone familiar with such a thing for say, for example, a single string with a single saddle. I'm aware that they can be cut. Not looking to use something like RMC...

The only thing I know of offhand is the LR Baggs LB6, which has six separate elements. That is fairly similar to the RMC that you don't want though.

I wonder how Alvarez and Lowden do it, with their split saddles. Seems like they would need two separate pickup elements for that to work, or an SBT on the underside of the top.

This also sounds like the Barbera transducer, a one piece saddle but with individual piezos for each string.
Are you looking to make something yourself or are you looking for a product?

It's for something custom I'm working on that will be used to trigger MIDI for individual strings, but the stuff like RMC saddles won't fit my design. I heard of cigar box guitar makers cut cheap rod piezos, but was hoping there was a pre-made (and possibly more reliable) solution...
