This is a Bach piece that I have loved. I just discovered this player a few days ago. I think she does it great justice, and the recorded sound is very nice I think.....

The Matthew MacAllister lament is a haunting piece of music. Interesting to see the use of an ORTF mic setup for live solo guitar.

There are far too many classical guitar videos I like. Here's just a few:

Default Amazing performance and video

Here's Kostas Amaxopoulos playing Vicente Asencio's "Collectici Intim - La Joia".
That guitar has some magic in it. What a bottom end and treble balance!

What do you think??

Default One of the greatest piece for classical guitar (lute)

This is probably one of my favourite Bach's pieces:

Prelude BWV 998

This is a sensitive and emotionally moving performance that I have seen on YouTube.

Not exactly classical but it is nylon string, and an amazing performance. One of my favorites.

Here's another Lucarelli - Malaguena

And Paco De Lucia playing the Concierto de Aranjuez. (The Adagio starts around minute 6:15)

This is another version of just the Adagio performed by Gunther Guerts, and he plays 2 guitars. By the way, he's a nice guy, who sent me the arrangement that he uses. Although he speaks very little English, and I speak no German, it was interesting to ask questions of him and get his responses. Google Translator needs a little work

And finally, Pepe Romero playing La Paloma.

Enjoy,
Bob

Concerning the above post I made. I clicked the button (play button above the window that I used to reply to the thread) and entered the entire URL for the youtube videos. That gave me the error message to try later, and would not show the videos.

I found that I had to go in and delete the URL except for the letter/number group after the "=" sign, and insert that letter/number string between the youtube codes.

ie., changed from "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLtBJcaY1kw" to
"LLtBJcaY1kw" so that it's "["YOUTUBE]LLtBJcaY1kw[/YOUTUBE"]

Of course, don't enter the quotes inside the YOUTUBE code. I just put them there to keep the code from writing and putting up the video.

Hopefully that will help some who are having the same problems with youtube.
