Mr Sage, I was blown away with this. Imagine what you could do in a pro studio. You sure have been blessed with a great voice. Have you taken any pro vocal training? You are way above average. Your guitar also has really good string to string separation and also stands far apart from the voice. Very good work.

These compliments are just so generous. Thank you all.

I've consistently disregarded similar comments from previous band members, family, friends and other folks thinking they're just being very nice and courteous. Now I'm getting concerned that maybe the praises were genuine and I just blew them off. I may have to call every single one of them to apologize.

Thanks again all.

Mr. G,

I would love to try a pro studio one of these days. No, I've never had voice lessons but I grew up watching my mother do night after night of rehearsals and performances on stage. She acted on stage and did mostly musicals. I watched her sing as the queen, the wicked stepmother, mother superior and a bunch of other characters. She was always humming at home and listening to the Rat Pack, Doris Day, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Nat King Cole, Jerry Vale, et al. These guys were my voice teachers, I guess. My dad told me years ago that he regretted that he did not seek to fully develop my musical inclinations.

I'm lucky to have great guitars from outstanding builders.

Thanks again for listening.

Hey Ernie . . . That was BRILLIANT . . . I loved it!

As others have noted, you gave a wonderful vocal performance. And I also thought the music was first class!

I see we share some of the same recording gear (Rode Mics, Apogee Duet, iMAC/Garageband, Goodall guitars). Hearing the quality of recording that you achieve with this set-up, reinforces to me that I made some good choices on gear.

BTW . . . you've got a new Fan on Soundclick.

Very nice! As much as I admire your vocal performance - I'm in awe of the rhythm guitar track. Brilliantly played and recorded imo.

Enjoyed much! Mark

Thanks Mark. The guitars were recorded with very inexpensive Studio Projects C4s. After 7 - 8 years of use, I sent them back to Studio Projects for some maintenance stuff. I think they used the word "recalibrated" but I may have confused that with something else here at work.

Should get them back in the next few weeks.
