Default Fishman Loudbox Artist in Padauk cabinet

Hi! I know there's been discussions on making a wood cabinet for the Loudbox family. Actually these discussions led me to try it, as I acquired some guitar wood and got a nice billet of Padauk as extra.

I'd say it turned out nice, and makes the cabinet a living room worthy piece of gear in my wife's eyes too.

That looks great. I've often wondered why someone hasn't made replacement wood panels for the Loudbox amps and sell them on Ebay.

Do you have pictures of how the cabinet looked prior to final assembly?

Default That would be a fun project

What a fun project that would be.

BTW - Love the TimbreTones web site! Sound like good nice microphones as well.

Thanks!

The side panels can't be replaced. It's well routed, fitted and glued together and can't be undone. The new cabinet had to be made from scratch.

I do have some pictures, but no way to post them here. All I get is dead links if I try the photo adding tool, unfortunately.

Stunning!

When I was considering something in the Loudbox line, I could occasionally find wood-sided versions online that were official Fishman productions. They were significantly more expensive of course.

Yes, they offered a wood-sided version too. No wonder it's more expensive!

Very nice woodworking. You should be proud of your workmanship!

Wow looks great but also like a lot work beyond my skills, if you ever decide to sell it...

Yeah, that's what I tried to do. But that's not the issue of this thread so thanks for your help!
