I got an early Christmas guitar, a Yamaha FG5. I doubt if Santa or the wife will think I deserve anything more for a while!

Default If you could get a new guitar for Christmas what would it be?

Not going to go through 9 pages to see if anyone else asked but….Tony’s Antique (The Bone) would be swell.

So, I really shouldn't have and I am selling some gear to justify it, but after the holidays I will be taking delivery of my latest Baxendale conversion. Late 40s to early 50s Silvertone Archtop.

If I have to pick one for this year (there's a list lol), then a customized X20.

If I had a quick couple grand land in my lap, the slotted head stock version of the Martin 0-15 LA Guitar Sales has on there site. Or, the solid acacia wood Pono little parlor guitar that is on the Ukulele Site page. I'm a sucker for smaller guitars even though I did recently get a cutaway dread that actually is pleasurable to sit and play with. Either of those 2 would be just about it on GAS for me.

Hehe, I appreciate the sentiment but I don’t have the back strength for knocking out walls by myself! My little guitar space is quite crammed already! Besides, I’d get buyer’s remorse.

No, if anything I should vary it up a little and not get another Martin dread. I could use a 12 string and the Taylor 254ce DLX ticks most of the boxes.

A nice 12 string is the way to go, including the 254ce DLX. Larrivee may have something in that price range as well.

Make It 2! And if Collings backorders don't make that possible, a CEO-07 would be okay.
