I'm not much of an electric guy anymore but when I hop on the Stairmaster I will pull up something a little more "energetic" and today I played this Toto video from 2013.
At the 49:00 mark Lukather goes at it pretty good...I've always liked his tone - nice and meaty, but the guy is just amazingly tasty in my opinion. Saw them from the front row on the Hydra tour and it was just amazing - still one of the tightest bands I've ever seen. Here's one of my favorite solos of his from the old days that flew under the radar... solo starts at 2:20.
