I'm not a dread guy too ... but that's a great looking guitar!

Outstanding burst on that one - bonus that it sounds so good. Great find!

Every guitar player should own a D-18 somewhere along the way, to have something to compare the others to.
Something of a benchmark.

Aim that sound hole east…toward Ohio and let me hear it! D18’s are my favorite dreads and yours looks special.

The "it" is a moving target in most cases, but really in the end it matters not because it's always a good thing. This has me gassing for one...

Congrats. I always take play wear to be a sign of respect. To me, the best guitars just don’t go in their cases. You want them there . . . but they just seem to stay out, getting used for what they were meant to do. Sounds like you found one of those. Enjoy that thing!!

That’s one handsome guitar. Who can resist a dread that pulls you back in? Hopefully you’re getting lots of play time with the new ax.

Thanks! My Gibson Southern Jumbo turned out to be a dud. Just no life and dead sounding. The D-18 came from Ted at LA Guitars, and as usually, it is stunning!

I just bought a slightly pre-owned D-18 and it is a fabulous guitar. In every way.
Kind of like a Honeycrisp apple-sweet, snappy and dripping with healthy goodness! Congrats! That is a beautiful guitar.

Yeah, Kori...as you know, I wavered on some cosmetic issues with the guitar, but I got a great deal and I found a guy who can make the binding surgery scars almost vanish. That, and the tone that stayed in my head for a week after playing it...sealed the deal for me.
