Martin OMC-28E owners?

I've found very little information about this guitar. I've come upon the opportunity to buy one for around $2000 and I'm not sure if it's a good deal. I can't even find how much they originally sold for and I haven't seen them pop up on Reverb.com, Ebay or Craigslist (I've been looking through archived sold listings as well). If anyone owns one or knows anything about it, I would really appreciate some feedback and advice!
