1951 Martin D28
Had the privilege of playing a friend of mine's '51 D28 last night. A stunning instrument with a glorious sound.
My friend who is a young man I've know and played with since he was still at school is currently studying at ETSU in Johnson City and has been given a grant to return to the UK as he's researching the development of Bluegrass here in Blighty. He's a fine musician and developing songwriter who is going to go far. I'm very grateful to him for being so generous in allowing me unlimited access to his 'baby' Last edited by JKA; 05-03-2024 at 08:06 AM. |

When you get your hands on something that old, its a red letter day.
