Default ipad pro mount for mic stand

Not sure where to post this so thought I would try in here. I am hoping someone might be able to help. I have a 12.9 inch iPad Pro that I recently got for storing music in Onsong and I am trying to mount it vertically. I am currently trying my third mount, the iklip 3 deluxe model specifically marketed for the iPad Pro. Over the course of a few minutes, the iPad slowly slides down the mount until the point that it is about to fall out. This has been the same result of every product I have tried.

The problem seems to be that the 11 inch iPad gets grabbed from the top and bottom of most mounts, even for vertical viewing. The 12.9 model only gets squeezed on the sides when going vertical. Clearly, the weight of the iPad Pro is too much for many of these pressure mounts, even the ones made for the Ipad Pro.

Does anyone have success with a vertically mounted 12.9" iPad Pro on a mic stand? Perhaps a mount that has a system to tighten the tension or that grabs on the corners? I am also open to a stand-alone tripod mount that does not necessarily clip onto the mic stand if anyone has experience with one.

Thanks for any advice.

I have this Hola mic stand mount for my 10" tablet. It grabs opposing corners and works well. It says it fits up to 15" tablets so it ought to work for you.

I have a couple of those that I’ve been using for years. They get the job done better than anything else I’ve tried.

Looks like problem solved, which is great! In case you're ever looking for an overkill solution, the Triad Orbit stuff is as expensive as it is incredible.
