This one starts with fingers, then goes to hybrid picking. I knew it would be annoying to grab the pick and play straight away, but it didn't take that long to get better at it (I'm used to making a couple of adjustments after picking a pick up, not just hitting the strings with it immediately).

I really like the hybrid pattern he uses here. I hadn't tried pick -> two fingers -> pick before, and it felt cramped to begin with -- by the I mean cramped between the pick on the D string and the fingers on the G/B.

Also, I had to use up-up-down for the high part. I think that Carl uses both alternate and UUD there, but I had to stick with just UUD to stay sane.
