Arrow Bourgeois Vintage OM, Bourgeois Custom Country Boy, Martin 000-15SM

Hi all,

First time selling here, but long time lurker and recent buyer . Have good feedback on eBay and have bought and sold many guitars on Seattle craigslist over the years.

I have 2 guitars up for grabs. Please click links for images.

1. 2008 Bourgeois Custom Country Boy Dreadnought. $2,400 shipped.

Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, hide glue construction, open back Waverly tuning machines, and original case. Fishman Ellipse Matrix Blend pickup professionally installed.

1-23/32" nut, 2-5/16" spacing at the bridge. Action is smooth and clean up and down the fret board. Incredible note separation, clarity, and power.

Excellent condition overall. No dings, but a small amount of wear in the finish on the neck. Also, the lining of the case has some discoloration (present to a lesser extent in the Vintage OM).

Tone is rich and balanced. The clarity is outstanding. I didn't really understand what note separation meant until I played this guitar.

2. 2018 Martin 000-15SM. $1,150 shipped.

Top back and sides are all solid mahogany. 12 frets to the body, slotted headstock. Original Martin case. Specs from Martin.

Like new condition. Would be very hard to distinguish from one bought new at the store. Extremely lively and responsive. Also, smells really great.

Not interested in trades at this time. Thanks for looking!
-Gabe

Got out the string action gauge and confirmed that nut width on the Country Boy is actually 1-23/32.

Gabe, I have a Bourgeois JOM with EIR back & sides but they're nothing like yours. The rosewood on your OM is gorgeous. Very good price too. GLWS. -Pete

Thanks, Pete! It is a striking book matched set, which is set off nicely by the back strip (in my opinion, anyway).

Are you sure about the nut width? I don't think I've ever seen a nut width that narrow with a wide 2 5/16 string spacing.

Here's are some pictures of the nut width and string spacing. Feel pretty sure that it really is 1-23/32. The vintage OM is just a hair wider at the nut. It wasn't till I measured that I realized it wasn't 1-3/4.

Totally possible I'm not measuring the right way, but that is what I'm getting.

Bump for the work week.

Shipping now included.

$2,400 for a Country Boy.
$1,150 for an all mahogany Martin.

Also, decided I couldn't part with the OM.

Thanks, Scott. You're welcome to come check it out if you're curious. Despite the size and wood differences, there's a serious family resemblance to my Vintage OM.

Not sure if you were buying or selling, but I seriously considered your H&D when it was on CL a while back.

I just may come by to check it out. I still have the H&D as well. Perhaps I’ll bring it. Giving the country boy a bump!
