Default A Happy Moment!

So I just wanted to share a happy moment with you all. I'm the music and arts director at a church and we have been in the midst of a nearly 18 month construction project that had us kicked out of our building. Well, it just wrapped up and I got to move all my instruments into my new office. Due to space constraints in the old building I stored some of my instruments at home, some at the office, and some at my sisters house...now for the first time I have them all safely housed in one place and I couldn't be happier. This is the wall behind my desk and it just brings me so much joy to look at!

Indeed I do! That's another nice thing. Rather than keeping them all in cases and humidifying them individually, I just need to keep the room properly humidified. Much easier!

Instant music store! Congratulations on your move. I assume those aren't visible to any passing thieves?

Congratulations. Man, you don’t only dig into your strings but also in the tops of your guitars. A humidifier won’t be all they need... ☹️

Really nice but, are you the one wearing into the tops of those guitars? Is that a hole in the Martin in the bottom row? What is the slope shoulder guitar above it?

Thanks

A Happy Moment indeed. It's a great room and great guitars/instruments.

I admit it, I just creeped on your YouTube channel, hoping to see something that would provide a clue to those crazy wear patterns. I didn’t necessarily see it, though you do have some long fingernails. You’re a good player and singer. Cheers!

I detect an octave mandolin in that collection. Well done! I have two myself - they're so much fun to play.

Yup, that's a hole in the Takamine (it's a lawsuit tak, not a martin). That was my guitar in college and I played quite differently back then.

The slope shoulder is a Bourgeois DS-260. I treat it with kids gloves.

LoL! I love this! Not just some treasured objects... Your wall of guitars displays character and passion with all the signs of use over the years.
Thanks for posting this.
