Here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70WoVtd8RkU - Andy Powers says that this also solves most of the intonation problem with guitars. I find that pretty shocking (as Jason Shadrick was) but hell if I'm going to argue with Powers.

Absolutely true - you can market anything with enough hype and find ignorant people to buy it. It's not only the music industry but everywhere in general. Like those guys on TV who sell socks like they've re-invented something - I looked 'em up and they want, like, $10-$12 a pair for them. It's mall based on hype and people fall for it. I pity them.......

This was genius! I loved stroking the log with cut ginger, and the $1200 price tag. Better was the aging yuppie customer. Best of all (and I’m embarrassed I didn’t spot this right off) the video was made in Canada! By CBC! Canadians are brilliant at putting we Yanks in our place and making us like it. This vid was the high point of my day.

Admittedly, I'm not a Taylor follower so I'm not clear on something.

Is this new bracing a different animal than the re-voiced Taylors?

I am mostly an electric player

You guys haven't seen marketing hype BS until you read Mesa Boogies amp ads. You put your money down hoping to coax the promised glory out of the amp but after time you conclude you just got fleeced by the marketing machine.

And we wonder why the world is running out of all the best woods? Guys like this are making "the best firewood in the world" out of it.
Nothing like the aroma of fresh-cut burning rosewood.
