1946 Martin 0-21 w/ Calton Case
I kept this guitar over a ‘39 00-21. The 0-21 was discontinued in very early ‘47. This one has a mixture of early and late Style 21 features. The dot inlay and rosette are later and the herringbone backstrip is early. All original except the tuners (golden era replacements that work and look great). One very short side crack and looks like one or two short oxidized top cracks near the lower bass edge. Action is superb at just over 3/32” and 2/32”. Currently it has 11’s on it and it’s a fingerpicker’s dream. Very thinly taper braced top and all original finish. More dings and marks than you can count but everything has been tended to (cracks glued and set up done) so it needs nothing. Great Canadian Calton size 0 12 fret case. Looking for a good home where it’ll get played. Really a treat of a guitar.
Sold w/ the Calton plus any shipping and/or PayPal fees. Pics here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hva76bibg...Dgjpm5ANa?dl=0 Last edited by pcf; 08-09-2019 at 01:00 PM. |

Do you have the nut width or string spacing? Is it an addi top, Do you have a video or audio clip? Thanks

Nut width is 1 7/8” (on all vintage Martin 12 fret guitars). String spacing is 2 3/8”. Sorry, forgot to list that stuff.

Been holding out for one with possibly earlier appointments, but this looks like a real honey.
Good luck! |

I did exactly what you’re doing
And I kept this ‘46, not the ‘39 00-21...or the ‘38 0-18...or the ‘43 00-17...I like this one better than all those. But I’m having to sell a few bc we are building a house and having a baby. Otherwise I wouldn’t sell it.
