Thanks, Derek. There's a term Hawaiian music enthusiasts use, chicken skin, this clip give 'em plenty.

Hey Derek,

Hard to deny Willie-no matter who you are.
He’s not just a great singer songwriter, guitar player.
He’s a musician.
He can imply movement with just single notes.
He can hear and play implied horn sections at will.
He has a fantastic ability to use leading tones,
and so much more.
He’s not a “country” musician-he is a fine musician
on almost every conceivable level.
And to top it off, he’s a good guy.

Mark

I know he is very popular, but I think he is still under-rated as a musician. I especially like his jazz renderings. I really enjoyed this song that I haven't heard before.

Heard/Saw Willie a few years ago. Just aesomr. He and Trigger go way back and continue to go way forward.

His sister played piano and his sons are chips of the old block. Impressive.

And genre defying, really.

Quite a rich history in Willie Nelson!

It doesnt get any better than Willie. When he 1st got into show biz nationally you would never have guessed what he has become. But as for his guitar, it sounds like it looks.
