Pawn Shops
If one were in need of a quick cash advancement, one which would be rapidly paid back, is a pawn shop a suitable alternative?
What are the watch outs?

From what I've heard they pay something like $150 for $2,000 guitars. And of coarse every customer believes they will buy it back. Evidently not all do.
