I like the energy of the Kinks. I never really thought they were kinky but the song Lola was confusing. As an adult its obvious what the topic is. Still I like the song, it is unique and one of the Kinks better songs with or without the words. Some of their songs are a little to garage band to be really great but when I hear one on the radio I turn the volume up and get into it.
