Default No Guitar Hell.

Well, I ordered a Composite Acoustic guitar as my one and only guitar as I live on a boat and the stress of worrying about my wood guitars and maintaining the proper environment got to be too much.
I advertised my Martins on local Craigslist for a fair price, pick up , cash only. They sold in 2 days! Now I don't have a guitar for at least 2 weeks! I play every day 2 hours and much more on weekends. I didn't realize how addicted I am to playing every day.
I think I will have to visit GC for a fix.
End of rant.

Sometimes a wee break, as frustrating as it is, can do your guitar brain and your fingers good. I also find this helps with Golf. Who would have thought a break from playing the guitar would do wonders for my golf game. Anyway I'm glad it's you and not me but I think you'll be fine. Try to resist the temptation to watch TV or talk to anyone. And stay out of trouble, a man without a guitar is a man on the edge.

Congrats on the quick sale of the wood ones. I don't have words to make the wait easier (goodness knows I am not good with that), but I hope the time passes quickly for you. We look forward to that NGD post from you.

Congrats!!! You are living the dream.... open sea and guitars.... Welcome to the club... sold my martin and taylors 5+ years ago and have never looked back... We are blessed with such diversity of CF models that it would be hard to think of a reason to go back.

Enjoy and hope all your journeys are smooth sailing!!!

Now you are gonna have to play 24 1/2 hours a day to get caught up... or something like that... if it helps my 15 guitars say hey.

Were you guitar less while you waited?

No, far from it so I can't relate but I do believe that sometimes not playing is the best thing you can for your playing. I'm not playing acoustic again until the new guitar arrives.

Some years ago I really felt in a rut, playing wise. I ended up taking a break from playing, probably about a month or so. When I returned to playing, it was with renewed vigor. Having said that, I get withdrawals while at work and I really need my daily fix, even if its just for 10 minutes.
