Happy to have my 335 back from luthier
Just got my 335 back from the luthier. Shout out to Mike Weems in Anderson, SC! It now plays awesome and oddly sounds better (even acousticly) to me than it did prior. I know that is probably in my mind only, but what a difference a fret job and good setup makes!

Hi Tiffany!
Great news! I know you'll enjoy it! The ES-335 is such a terrific guitar. I have a 1978 ES-335 with a pole splitting switch. Just a killer guitar! All the best, Glenn

Fantastic! A setup makes any guitar feel like a completely different guitar. It can definitely make your guitar sound better unplugged as well.
I found your original NGD thread from 6 months ago. Sounds like it's a keeper? |

It's not going anywhere. I haven't spent much time with it, because it played pretty badly - but now that it is setup properly - I feel the connection.
Someone had leveled the frets, but not re-crowned or polished them. They were very flat and rough. Now, it 's good to go! |
