FOUND: Larrivee L-03

Looking to buy a used Larrivee L-03 (maybe L-02) with Mahogany back & sides (might consider Walnut). Prefer to find one that has been well cared for (humidity/temp) with no structural issues. Cosmetic issues / Mojo are fine. Also prefer 1 3/4" nut (some older ones have 1 11/16").

What kind of budget are you looking at as I have an LV-05 that might be of interest.

Agreed. Wildwood and Notable have beautiful and nicely priced Larrivee's. They are out of my budget at the moment, thus the search for used.

I have a 2005 Larrivee L-05 that I purchased in 2009. Beautiful guitar, wonderful sound. One caveat: the guitar was purchased from a Sam Ash store in New Jersey and it came with a crack in the top between the bridge and the bottom of the guitar. I wasn't concerned about the crack because one of the best luthiers in Philadelphia worked right around the corner from me.

So I bought the L-05, he fixed the crack and all's well. The top is spruce, the back and sides are mahogany. Tuners are Schallers. Also has a Fishman Matrix Infinity Acoustic Guitar Under Saddle Pickup. I'm selling it because I prefer a 1 11/16" nut (the L-05 is 1 3/4"). Years ago I learned to play on a Martin D-35 and old habits die hard.
