Default Sound clip of my second build

This was the second guitar I built. I used some kit parts from Martin and made some parts. This one is an OM, 25.5 scale, dovetail neck, east Indian rosewood back and sides, redwood top, unscalloped bracing in standard X format. This one is my shop mule. Maybe I'll put a quickie finish on it someday,

My wife was the guitar picker for this clip.

Thanks for listening.

Chris.

"Shop mule" does this one a great disservice. I actually think that's a handsome OM you built there. The styling is reminiscent of Larrivée's 03 series but with some nice embellishments. It may look more like a carpenter's cup rather than a "Holy Grail" but it certainly sounds like one.

BTW, your wife is a fine picker!

Thanks everybody. Yes, I really love the build process, I've always loved to make things. Guitar three is done and out getting a pro finish put on by Joe White. Number 4 in on the bench right now, it's quilted mahogany and sitka spruce. I bought the back and side tonewood for number 5 today, Oregon Myrtle.

It's some fun stuff, I highly recommend it. I gotta sell some of these things, though. I'm nearly up to my hips in guitars.......

Chris.
