I am the original owner of this magnificent instrument and worked directly with Kevin when he built it for me.
As you can see from the pictures, it's in pristine condition. It's 18 years old so I'd say "near mint".
Visually, I'd say it could use a fret dress but nothing in the feel, sound, or playability would indicate that so that would be a personal decision.

Always properly humidified and kept in the case when not being played.
Never gigged and only played out a handful of times for church.

I won't try to list all of the superlatives describing how it sounds because if you're considering a Ryan you most likely know how they sound.

Playability is incredible! Ryan's necks are extremely comfortable and stable. I have it set-up low and straight.
I will include a couple of saddles in the event you prefer something different in the action height.

#FYI - on photo #3 there is a lot of light reflection, not a scratch or defect!

Sell those guitars and buy this incredible Ryan. You won't regret it - I probably will though!

I added a video just give an overview of how the Ryan sounds.

It's by no means a pro video or audio for that matter, but not a bad representation either.

I recorded it on a Zoom video recorder with the XY mics from about 5' away.

I just wanted to get a basic recording of a new tune I had written for my own purposes but thought it might be OK to post here.

In YouTube go to Video Manager, select the video, click Advanced Settings, tick the "Embed" box.
