Default help figuring out this part

Hello. I would very much appreciate someone with better ears to help me figure out a run in this song. The song is Lyin' Eyes

The part that I need help with is over the D chord and start at the 5:08 mark, after the words, "You set it up so well, so carefully".

It's probably a variation of the other runs that happen at the same part in the other verses, but I can't seem to figure this one out completely.

I checked to make sure 5:08 was the place. And it is. I'm talking about the run that happens over the 2 measures of D chord.

I can play and sing just strumming the chords, but the song has lot of places where I've been copying the fills and runs and this particular one at 5:08 is the last one that I've been stuck on for a while.

That's just a single note line up the neck on string one. You can't do that and be strumming the underlying the chord at the same time.

Yes, where these fills happen, I stop strumming and do the fills.

There are earlier verses where similar runs happen over this D section. And if this one is a variation of those, then it's probably on the G string (with 3rd harmony on the B string.)

I think a part of the trouble I am having is getting the exact rhythm (sounds syncopated (or is it?), but can't quite get it.)

I realize for someone to communicate the exact thing, it would require the effort of writing down the tab for it, which I know may be asking a lot. But if someone has the patience to do that for me... that's what I am hoping.

I'm hearing a D-C-B-A walk down starting at the 10th fret on the high E string. It's an essential run but will take some practice to incorporate it solo.

This is the run. It has a couple of syncopations, but also a chromatic note.

Code:
|D |G
|1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . |1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . |1
-------10-------8--------7--------6--------5-----3------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
As a solo player, you could incorporate it in the chord something like this:
Code:
|D D7 |G
|1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . |1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . |1
-------10-------8--------7--------6--------5-----3------
-------7--------7--------7--------7--------7-----0-----------
-------7--------7--------5--------5--------5-----0----------
-0-----------0-----------0-----------0-----------0----------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
Obviously work out some kind of strum/picking pattern around those shapes.

More challenging maybe would be entirely in 10th position:
Code:
|D7 |G
|1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . |1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . |1
-------10----------------------------------------------
-------10-------13-------12-------11-------10----8-----
-------11-------11-------11-------11-------11----7-----
-------10-------10-------10-------10-------10----9-----
-------12-------12-------12-------x--------------10----
-------10-------10-------10-------10-------------------
The challenge there is muting the strings you don't want, at least if you're strumming, and keeping a flow going.
