Default "Cliff Walk Interlude" DADGAD original

Hi folks!
Reaching back a few years, this very short tune came from playing at a friend's wedding which was held at sunrise at the famous "40 Steps" on the Newport Cliff Walk here in Rhode Island. I used a portion of it as a bridge/interlude to the next tune, in order to keep the music flowing prior to the ceremony. Played on my Doerr Legacy.....and part of the original CD, "Open Doerr".
Hope you enjoy!
Best,
Fred

Well done. I truly enjoy your style of guitar playing. Relaxing, non agressive, peaceful. Loved it!

You should expand on that Fred. It sounds soothing and interesting.

Many thanks!

Hi Glenn.....thank you for listening and commenting!! If you click on the icon, you get a better look at the 40 steps, and this pic was taken at sunrise! This area is historic, not only for the famous Newport Mansions (aka "Cottages") of the late 1800 and early 1900's, but the Cliff Walk that runs along the entire coast in this area. In early days, the servants at these mansions would gather on their only afternoon off in the week (Sunday) and meet on these steps to socialize.
The wedding for my friend was super small with only a few guests that stood all along the stairs with the couple (and me!) at the bottom foundation space nearest the water. I had my little Roland Cube (with batteries!) with me and fortunately the breeze blew inshore and carried the sound right up the stairs for everyone to listen.....no problem! (Phew, you never know!). All in all a special morning!
Thanks again, Glenn!
Fred
