Default Girl From Hoboken slideshow

This was fun to do.

My wife is always dragging me down to Hoboken to our favorite place, La Isla on Washington. It's a hole in the wall (small), but if you like Cuban food it's the best. They also have another location in town but we haven't gone there yet. The main street, Washington, is getting a face lift (new pavement, etc) which is almost done. The work didn't add any parking though,

What a beautiful melody, and great playing!

The video was nicely done as well.

My only complaint is I wish the music went on longer!

Thank you!

I have to learn to interweave a 3rd section into my compositions without muddying the thing up,

That is beautifully played and the slide show well done. Thank you for including a shot of Maxwell's. The only downside coming from Manhattan was the long walk back to the Path after the umpteen shows I saw there. Though a stop at "the biggest slice of pizza in the world" on the way usually softened the blow.

Switching to a variation but in a minor key can be effective. Creates some tension and then a nice resolution when you return to the major. But I'm no music theorist so YMMV.

Thanks J! There was pizza place that I loved there called Filippo's (spelling?) They sold and moved on. Great pizza though.

Good fun. Made me a bit nostalgic for my Jersey roots, and truly enjoyed the composition and playing. If you’ll take this as a compliment, it’s already an ear worm.

Cheers

Dave
