Add Leviora to the list.

Not cheap but has some nice options.

Really have the two I want to keep, the doubleneck because it's insanely cool and a work of musical art and the Rainsong black ice Jumbo (totally transitional no cutaway!).

El Capitan fasinates me but the price point makes experimentation a little problematic for a ex banker.

Tom, you need a Savoy.

But if it's not your thing, you can always let go to me!

Ted,
I'm with you on the Ekoa Rider. I'd love one of those. Right now I own every CF guitar I am interested in and will look forward to seeing which guitars are built as time goes on.

Currently on order: Emerald custom thin body cocobolo veneer nylon string X-10 arch top (for me), Emerald steel string X-7 (for my wife).

Also interested in the Emerald Amicus (both steel string and nylon string) and a custom X-20 nylon string. Don't know if or when funds will be available.

Might be interested in the Journey OF-660, if a nylon string version ever becomes available.

This wish-list dreaming is all ridiculous when considering how little time I have to play guitar these days. But SOME day........

Best regards,
Tom

Some folks beat me to it - adding Leviora to the list.

I'm waiting on a Leviora 12-string right now.

In terms of the other builders, I'd love to play an X-20 12-string, and it'd be really nice to see a Rainsong 12-string Shorty. :-) I'd never played one before and had the chance last weekend and was really struck by the tone. I had played Rainsongs exclusively for years but the Shorty really made an impression.

I am also looking forward to what the CF builders will come up with next. Ekoa is definitely a game changer, Journey has some tricks up their sleeve, and I doubt Rainsong is done offering new models.

I've owned an Emerald X20 Artisan, a Rainsong Shorty APLE and a Journey OF660 (still have that one). All three were great in their own way. Sold them off for various reasons most having to do with the neck carves or other dimensional issues and pickups.

Thought if I could custom order one to my exact specs that might be a way to go. Once I saw what Emerald is doing with the woody tops I was sold. So I've got an X20 custom woody on order with Santa Cruz 1929 00 neck carve and short scale dimensions, woody top, amber b/s and K&K pickup. Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked.

The Blackbird Savoy is high on my radar right now. Have not had the opportunity to try one in person but the size, look, sound (in video clips) are all hitting their marks for me.

Later

Oh my goodness - A SC 1929 00 is one of my dream guitars. Very keen to see the result on this one, Methos!!

You and me both! Rest assured that I will post a thorough NGD thread after I get it. So far the process has been painless. Great people to work with. I'm excited to see how well they reproduce the SC neck carve.
