Arrow SOLD! Beneteau 000-12 Cut.-Master gr. Spr./Flmd. Afr. Bubinga-*PRICE DROP TO SELL*

2004 Marc Beneteau 000-12C

SOLD!

I acquired this from a friend, but certainly have no room to keep it. This guitar is a 2004 and is in excellent condition. Certainly I'd argue that a 12 fret guitar with a cutaway is the nearly perfect acoustic guitar. Add the "000" size and you've got a fantastic guitar in every way...large enough to have super tone, small enough to be easy to play. The cutaway gives you access easily to the next octave of tones and chords, and they look pretty cool also.

The wood is very cool looking...nicely aged and has some unique visual characteristics. The master grade Sitka Spruce top is beautifully aged. The African Bubinga...also master grade...is absolutely stunning to say the least and very much visually 3-D. The Ameritage case looks like it has been "under the bed" for its entire life. This guitar has been well kept and kept in temperature/humidity controlled room by the previous owner. The guitar...Tonally spot on!

The guitar has some surface level bumps and small scratches that indicate that it has been played, and to be expected on a guitar built in 2004. By in large this one is in great condition and the frets look great as well.

Specs:

Top: Master grade silked Sitka
Back/sides: Master grade flamed African Bubinga
Size: 000-12C; 12 fret with cutaway
Standard scale length
Fingerboard: Ebony
Binding: Curly Maple
Head stock overlay: Brazilian Rosewood
Cutaway: Soft Venetian
Nut and Saddle: Bone
Nut width: 1 13/16
Saddle: 2 5/16"
Pickguard: None
Neck: Honduran mahogany....low profile D, slim n fast
Tuners: Waverly with ebony buttons
Pickup: K&K Trinity!!
Case: Ameritage with humidifier box (grey with black trim)

The former owner's thread added this information: "This guitar handcrafted by Marc Beneteau, one of the top Canadian master luthiers since the '70s. Marc is a one man show, his way of quality control. His workmanship is precise. All bindings hand made by Beneteau. built with tone first followed by aesthetics."

Price: NOW SOLD!!.

Here is a video of a Beneteau 000-12c that is very similar that will hopefully give you a feel for the tone.

Smile Good pedigree on AGF

Unless I am mistaken I owned this for a while. I got it from Alan/palolowarrior in a cool trade for a very high end Bourgeois.

If this had a 1.75" Nut I would still have it!

Really great sounding axe and beautiful as well.

Buy with confidence as Mike is one of the best of the best and a fine gentleman who takes super care of his top shelf guitars!!!

Cheers

Paul

Yes Paul,
this is the one that got us both started.

Folks, this is one heck of a guitar. The 1 13/16” nut is unnoticeable because of the shallow “D” slim fast neck. Versatile tone that is suitable for any of us.

000-12’s usually have its own niche market. This one though is so suitable for all to have and to hold...

Thanks Paul and Alan. It's a really nice instrument!

Thanks also to those of you who have reached out about this guitar, and for the offers. Still waiting for the right one, but optimistic that someone is going to pull the trigger on this one soon. Heck of a fun guitar to play!

Reach out to me if you have interest!

pretty sure I owned this one before you guys. Thinking I traded it to Frank(Transylvania) for a Goodall 000 TRD.

It used to be pictured on the Beneteau website showcasing that model. Wonderfully built, easy player, loved the neck profile shape.

D. Good memory. I got the Ameritage case from you. Trying to figure a way to get this one back in the fold!

Someone please buy this before I hurt my credit card’s feelings! My Model M has the same 1 13/16 nut width and slim neck described here and this is awful tempting even though I’m literally receiving another Beneteau on Tuesday.

What a lovely 12-fretter! The cutaway is definitely a plus in my book!
Great price too for a Beneteau!

Thanks Daryl, Frank, Dustin, Doug and Rye! Very nice comments and i appreciate all of you chiming in on this one. I truly believe that whoever gets this guitar will really love it. Heck of a lot of guitar for the money!

I've had some interest, but it's still available. I am open to offers. If you're thinking about this one, reach out to me. I don't think it will last long, and the first one that comes along with a solid reasonable offer is gonna get it. May as well be you!

Thanks Johnny! It's till here...frankly I'm a bit surprised but as we've all said it is summer and some people who should be plunkin' down $$ for nice guitars are at the lake lol.

Despite all of that, I'm gonna get the price down a bit to entice someone off the fence. I've had a number of people reach out about this one, and maybe there's even someone else out there who wants to make a run at it. If the price I'm showin' doesn't get your motor running, tell me what does and we'll talk.

I'd like to sell this one pretty soon. Let's chat...there's music waiting to be made

I can attest that it sounds as good as it looks.
