I purchased a Krivo for my National Style 1. The mounting/install uses a type of poster putty so it's dead easy, adheres really well and if you want to remove it leaves no marks. It's a high-output hum bucker with a touch of microphonics, and has individual adjustable pole pieces so you can tweak for your string types. I've been really pleased with mine. I think whenever you add a magnetic pickup to an acoustic instrument you are already making a compromise but if you want to play live either solo or in a band this pickup offers really nice tone and freedom from feedback.

I got one for my National Style O, and I like it.
I needed something to use 'cause I've got issues standing still in front of a mic, especially when I'm singing. I've used it in several venues, and always get compliments on the sound I get with it. |

I've got one on my single cone. I installed it permanently. I don't play out much, but I'm very happy with it. My playing partner reckon it sounds great and he's the sound guy!
I did a very unscientific comparison here if you're interested.
