Default Closing Time - Fingerstyle Instrumental

I dusted off an older tune of mine for a streaming show last month and realized I'd never tried a video of it. This tune was written as an attempt to capture a mood or mental image. Back in my band days, one of my favorite times was late at night, last set, as things started to settle down, people started drifting out, and we could relax and play whatever we wanted. I pictured a smokey club with just me left on stage to play some bluesy/jazzy solo guitar. From that image, I came up with "Closing Time":

Played on a Jeff Traugott BK guitar.

Really lovely, Doug. Beautiful composition and arrangement, and flawless performance.

Lush. Nice chord tones. What tuning for this one?

Thanks. Tuning is EBEGAD - same notes as standard, just in a different order (and octaves) :-)

Amazing, Doug! A true lesson in "that's how it's done"!! So many textures and fun little items packed in there. So creative, and as has been said, cool and "smoky"!

I picture people heading out and stopping in the doorway, at their tables with their coats in hand or in front of the stage suspended in time as they can't quite yet leave.

I looked under you user name and saw 'Charter Member' and thought, how appropriate. That was really, really nice.
