Default Anybody gonna buy a MusicNomad Humitar One?

It won't be me but maybe some of you may be interested in this product. I've read it will come out about Oct. 24 and will have a street price of about $29.99 to $34.99.

Basically it seems to be a combination of an soundhole humidifer with a hygrometer and a temperature monitor. It has an LCD screen and it seems to use the same Humidi-i-Bar that is used in the simpler (and cheaper) Humitar.

I'll just keep using my D'Addario soundhole humidifier and change the water at least once a week (preferably twice a week) as the fuel oil heater will be turned on Oct. 1 so that means my annual battle with low humidity will return.

There's a Youtube promo video available.

Frankly, I'm surprised it took so long.
I use their humidifiers, and ther hygrometers, so yes, I'd be up for them , not sure I need more at present though.

Nope. I’ll carry on using my Oasis humidifiers (when necessary) and Govee blue-tooth hygrometers in the cases, with their app on my iPad.

Yep, me too. Except I use Humidipaks.

I'm not certain but I think the one you cited is made of two products while the Humitar One combines the two. Maybe?

I own a couple of these and like them. Certainly not a new idea on Music Nomad’s part.
I did not know there was a product like that so this is something new to me.

Just to mention that I've gone to the Govee wifi humidistats and I'm looking forward this winter to actually knowing what's happening humidity-wise in each case in each location.

I will never use any of that stuff. Especially humidipaks that you put in the sound hole.

I got a few cheap amazon hygrometers around the room. I run a room humidifier in the dry months, and a room dehumidifier in the wet months. I keep the room about 50% +/- 5% all year round.

If I need to take my guitar somewhere for a long time, I throw a couple of those little sponge packs in the case (never the sound hole).

All that other crap is just a waste of time and money. To me anyway.

Bob, no offence intended but, as a guy who changes guitars as frequently as he changes his underwear, surely you must see the delicious irony in that statement?

Hey... I have had guitars for over a month!

Are you saying I only change my underwear once a month?

LOL
