Default The Gambler-Kenny Rogers cover

I don’t think I’ve posted this one here. I recorded it some months back. Played in a Gibson J45. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for listening. If you’ve heard it here, forgive me for the double post.

Whoa!

Very nice Roger! That song is just right for your voice and playing style! Well done! And your voice sits right up on top of the sound of the guitar, which is just about perfect!

Hi Roger,
I love this song, and this recording is so nice.
Your Gibson sounds great.
I love the fact that your vocals is floating above the mix, just the way I like it.
Your vocals is lovely, very warm.
Thanks for sharing this beauty.
Rene

Thank you Glenn and Rene for tuning in and taking a moment to comment. I appreciate it very much.

My recording is pretty much trial and error and I’m glad that the levels on this one sound ok to you both. You guys are producing some excellent sounding recordings. Mine is simply through the iPhone with a Fishman Loudbox amp pushing the sound.

Another good one, Roger. And the J45 fits you perfectly.

Thank you, Mr. Paul.

I keep thinking about other guitars, buying one now and then but none are as comfortable and easy to play as my J45. I’m glad it comes across as fitting me well, because the tone and vibe really does suit the kinds of songs that I select and enjoy playing.

I appreciate your looking in on this one and commenting.

This is a deceptive song as it's hard to play and sing well and you nailed both. Thanks for sharing !
