Patrick James Eggle Linville
I picked this up last week from a guitar shop in south east England. It was made in June 2010 and is in pristine condition with the original Hiscox case. The sales man recalled selling this when it was new and the same person brought it into the shop about a month ago having decided not to keep it. It does not look used at all. Cedar top Claro Walnut back and sides Ebony fretboard, bridge and headstock plate Mahogany neck 45 mm nut Lots of MOP inlays. The detail is stunning and the grain is awesome. It has 12's fitted but I don't know the make and the tone is outstanding. Tremendous bottom end blending into balanced middle and crisp top end. All the photos here: https://ibb.co/album/mnyxDv This guitar was reviewed in the Acoustic Guitar Magazine around June 2010 so if anyone has that copy I would appreciate a copy of the review please. Looks like a nice guitar- please be encouraged to post back and sides photos!
You can get back issue copies of acoustic guitar magazine from the publishers by paying a small fee for the article if no one here has kept the particular issue.

"Browse and purchase Acoustic Guitar magazine issues from 2011 right through to the present month." https://store.acousticguitar.com/col...ns/back-issues -------------- British guitar magazines give the impression that Patrick James Eggle knows what he is doing, whether he builds acoustic or electric guitars.

Cedar over claro walnut, what a great combination!
Congratulations, and I hope you can track down the article you want - maybe a new thread asking for it on the main AGF page? |
