Very nice, very evocative. Sitting here in Virginia in front of my stove, rain and snow on the ground and in the forecast, deciding to have a shot of bourbon and a piece of Gorgonzola before evening practice sessions starts. We're going to have some single digits.

I enjoyed this piece very much...you captured the essence of snow and sleet perfectly. I can close my eyes and see snow outside my window as I gaze into the trees and watch the snow pile up.

I love the dark, modal like moodiness of this piece. One of yours? It's very nice, and that guitar was an excellent choice for it.
Thanks for sharing!

Very eerie, really feels like walking through a gloomy snow day with a long way ahead. Great work! The 12 works great for that light, snowy feeling.

Hi Fred,

Man, that 12-string is perfect for this! All those overtones and the crystalline octave strings provide a great palette for building a piece around images of snow and ice.

Also, there is very nice movement in the piece supplied by your picking on the bass strings.

This works really well, Fred! Very nice!

I hope all is well there!

- Glenn

I can imagine walking through a strong snow fall, the only sound made by my boots crunching in the snow with the wind in my face wishing I was anywhere but where I was....

Good Fred!

Dustin!! So many thanks for the listen!! I love your descriptions of this!! Have to once again credit my wife who often names my tunes. While she's not a musician, she has a great innate ability to translate sound to words or titles!
Hope you are doing well and carrying on! (In a good way! )

Good morning, Glenn...and thank you so much for listening and commenting!
This was a piece which had intent....and by that I mean that I had almost a full compliment of tunes for the next CD project but wanted to include one on the 12 string. So, what to do? Where to take it??
I ended up noodling for about two weeks searching for where to take this. Every night, just a little time.....then giving it thought and a rest....waiting for things to 'pop'. And finally that bass line rif arrived and then it took me in the direction as you hear it. I knew it would come....just had to be patient!
Thanks again for your kind thoughts......hope you are well!
Fred
