Default May Release: Always Darkest Before the Dawn

Nice! The initial intro reminds me of Zeppelin's "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You."

I clicked on your post because I'd been listening and playing an old gospel song with a similar name, and I got to thinking where did the phrase "always darkest before the dawn" even start? I've been an early predawn riser my entire working career and I can attest that the eastern sky absolutely begins to brighten an hour or two before sunrise. It seems darkest to me around 03:00 personally (but there's nothing poetic about that).....

Thanks! The 6/8 opening is def a bit of an Am cliche but I couldn't help it.

And I have no idea where that saying comes home, I just like the tone it presents for a song that starts in Am and then switches to Amaj lol
