Default Pick giveaway - one Catalin triangle RED .060” = 1.5mm

Pick giveaway - one Catalin triangle RED .060” = 1.5mm WINNER # 9 = OneThing

I’ve enjoyed and benefitted from being a member of this forum, and some members have been curious about the picks I make and use. So here’s a pay-it-forward. Note to the mods - I do not sell or market these picks; and no plans to start.

Catalin is about the hardness of raw brass, slightly less hard than TS. About the same stiffness as TS. Durability is good. To me they are not much different from a same-thickness TS pick. I use 1 1/2” poker chips for blanks. Tip-to-side the finished picks are about 1.2”. Beveled edge. Shaped by hand, so they’re not machine-symmetrical. This pick is “extra-heavy” as made, so you can thin it to preference.

ANY post or reply puts you in the drawing. Winner randomly selected Wednesday January 20, 2021. I will notify (AGF message) winner and request preferred mailing address.

I’m intrigued. 1.5mm is the thinnest I tend to use. Thanks for counting me in.
