Default Looking for a OOO for bare finger playing.

EDIT: Found my guitar! Results on the second page.
Howdy folks! I'm new to the forum and haven't purchased a steel string in 10+ years, so I'm feeling a little out of the loop.

I'm searching for a OOO style (or similarly sized) acoustic below $1600.
Specs-wise I'd like it to have a sub-25" scale length, and at least 1 11/16" nut.
A slotted headstock would be icing on the cake, but not a deal breaker.
12 or 14 frets.
I'd like it to be lightly built, but I dont have a lot of material preferences. I like spruce or cedar for tops, rosewood or mahogany for back/sides and would even go for the right carbon fiber guitar.
I play fingerstyle with no picks or nails, so a slightly brighter guitar might be in order.
What's out there?

I'll bet it's below $1,600.

$1600. Sounds oddly specific, but comes in around $2000 here in Canada.

Not long ago, you could get a Martin 000-18 from a forum sponsor for $1,800. Not sure if that's still true.

Another good option would be a Taylor 312.

I’ll bet you can grab a used 000-18 with a little patience.
Had one for a few years and play 80% pickless.

I love my 000-15m for fingerstyle, especially with Martin Retros.

There’s a Larrivee 000-50 in the classifieds. Awesome guitar. I’ve wanted one of those for a long time.

Oops....it’s an OM-50 not a 000-50

Welcome to the forum! Eastman OM's are actually 000 by definition as their scale is 24.9". Sitka topped 6 or 8 series and Adirondack topped 10 and 20 series and 1 3/4" nut. The "TC" (thermo-cured) tops (either Sitka or Adirondack) are my favorite across the board. They also build a 12 fret slotted headstock 00 with 24.9" scale and 1 13/16" nut in Adirondack. All the afore mentioned guitars are available in Mahogany and Rosewood.

That's a great deal on a great guitar. I was going to mention it, but he wants < 25" scale.

Used 000-18 Martin should be in your price range and they're hard to beat for fingerstyle and some folks flat pick 'em. I use Martin Monel lights on mine and occasionally John Pearse 80/20 but like the monel better.

Look for a Martin Road Series 000. Those should be ~$1000 used. All solid wood, spruce top and sapele back and sides. Richlite on the neck which is fine. Great guitars for the money. Electronics too should you need it.

I was set on a OOO15m until I saw the scale length. Great looking/sounding for sure!

Oh dang! I'll take a closer look. I've got a couple eastman dealers in town.

I'll keep an eye out! I'm a big 80/20 fan so that's good news.
