Hello everyone, new to this site!
My wife and I are Brit crime fans and are currently hooked on 'DCI Banks'. Others we have enjoyed (sorry if they have already been mentioned) - Broadchurch, Happy Valley, Hinterland, Line Of Duty, the Unforgotten.
Another pretty unique series we are into is 'The Restaurant'. it's a Swedish drama set in the late 1940's - kinda like Downton but a bit more intense.

I'd check it out but be warned: it moves very slowly but has been building slowly over the past 5 seasons.

Finished Schitt$ Creek last week and had fun with it. At only 21 minutes per episode, it was a light/humorous break amidst all the mob, murder and mayhem stuff we typically record and enjoy.

Tonight, I randomly voice prompted "Netflix Series" and stumbled into the original Twilight Zone series, probably from the beginning in 1959. Looks like all the old black and white episodes are there. Just blasted through 4 of them (24 minutes apiece), and we're looking forward to having others available when we're up for a quick (enjoyable commercial-free) blast from the past.

Mrs. Tinnitus and I will have fun trying to recognize the young actors, many of whom went on from TZ to bigger notoriety, some huge. And we'll try really hard not to binge and finish them all before February.

Default Lupin

We started watching Lupin on Netflix. Expectations were not great, but after watching 3 of 5 episodes we like it a lot. Very clever and different. French with subtitles if that matters.

We have watched the first two episodes of the new 'All The Creatures Great And Small' on Masterpiece. It's well done, great scenery, vintage autos upbeat family entertainment. However I am a big fan of the original series and the new one doesn't have the same spark.

Same here. We are enjoying it, but not quite up to the original. Maybe it will develop more. Different, but based on Herriot, featuring one of his students in a reality series is Yorkshire Vet. We have watched every episode of The Yorkshire Vet on Acorn and loved that series.

Have just watched the first two episodes, albeit dubbed, but we love it. Lead guy, Omar Sy, is one of the biggest stars in France, it appears, and does comedy on the side. Am definitely going to be checking him out and re-watching on my own in the original French.

Just finished Season 1 of Undercover, a Nexflix series (2019). Total binge-watching addiction, 10 episodes in a day.

https://www.netflix.com/title/80225312

Absolutely no self-control here. Starting Season 2 as I type this...

I'm going to try to refrain from spoilers or harsh judgment but I did not like "The Good Place." I should say no more.

Fauda is fantastic! Incredibly well done, and really intense. I never watch dubbed versions as I can’t get into the acting in the same way. Has to be the real voices for me, even if I can’t understand them.

On the complete opposite end of the spectrum is what I think is the best show on television, “Ted Lasso”. It’s the most unabashedly positive show I’ve ever seen, and I smile through every episode. Wonderful characters across the board. It’s genuine, funny, and heart warming without being the slightest bit cheesy. I feel good every time I watch an episode. A true original.

The Mentalist on Amazon Prime. Just finished season 1. I had only watched a couple of episodes during it's original run 10 years ago but I had liked it. Fun show.

I dialed up a couple favorites from the past now available on Prime — Orphan Black and Wolf Hall.

I hated, hated, hated being dragged thru 49 episodes of Being Erica.

I'm a big Undercover fan as well. Season 3 is coming out on May 14th, I believe. It's called Ferry, and it's a prequel describing how Ferry Bouman starts his life of crime.

We are ... very ... hard to please and usually don't make it to episode 2 of a series.

Just watched season 1 of Broadchurch in 2 evenings. Fantastic.
