What a beautiful lady. She didn’t pass away, she just went ahead of you. You WILL see her again. What a wonderful day that will be.

Kori,

I'm very sorry to hear this news. So many of the AGF family have lost, or are losing, their parents as we reach our 50s and 60s. Your mom sounds like a wonderful person, and you were both very fortunate to have each other.

Kori, I am very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. It will take some time but your days will get brighter. Sometimes a tear. Sometimes a smile. Sometimes both. It will be there as it should be. That is yours. Take care. Your Mom was your gift that cannot be taken.

So sorry for your loss and deeply appreciative of the legacy she has passed on to all of us. Clearly you carry it well and will doubtless be a blessing to all you encounter on the way.

What a beautiful way to celebrate a wonderful life, person and relationship. I trust you will have many joyful memories as you play your Mom’s guitar in the future.

What an inspirational post and memorable tribute to your mother. I was the primary caregiver for my mother for a period of nine years as her condition progressed and held her hand as she passed away. I will admit there were times of weary frustration during those years but I would give anything to spend one more hour with her. I am not ashamed to say she was probably my best friend.

I know you will have moments of joy and pain in days to come. You will be in my thoughts and thank you for sharing your love for your mother.

What a lovely story and Mother. You had something rare and special. Sorry for your loss. Enjoy playing a guitar that meant so much to her and you. A fine guitar it is!

^ Yes. You are fortunate to have experience life and, lived, laughed and loved with such a special person. Anyone here would be lucky to be considered among your guitar-geek friends.

Kori, I am very sorry for your loss. Like others, I was left a little tearful reading the beautiful, heartfelt tribute you wrote for her. The experiences you shared and the lessons she left with you are present in your words. May she rest in peace, and I wish you healing memories of your precious times together.
