Angry Kitty's gone

My cat just died an hour ago- about 48 hours after being mauled by two pitbulls. She never regained the use of her back half, or could stand up.

Very, very sorry to hear that.

It takes a strong heart but go out and rescue another cat as soon as you can.
It won't replace your cat but it will save one.

Sorry about your loss.

I have a very powerful dog I rescued and always on leash, and I’m always taking her for walks. She has a beautiful demeanour and I’m constantly approached by children asking to pet her.

However, I have a low opinion of many animal owners - humans have an incredible capability for insensitivity and cruelty; better that there is a uthenasia (sic/ wrong spelling) program for powerful dogs in their care, because we can’t eliminate the owners.

This one hit me especially hard when I read it. Maybe because it was all so preventable. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find a new friend to help you get through this

It's devastating to lose a pet under the "best" of circumstances, but to lose one like that...I'm so sorry...

I am sorry this happened
and sorry for your loss. Pets are members of the family and losing them is very sad.

I believe all dogs and cats go to heaven.
Yours will be there.

I had a dog attacked by three pitbulls. Some mafia looking guy was walking them on a leash, but no matter how many muscles he had once they decided to go for our dog, nothing could hold them back. Luckily we managed to get the dog out of there before they killed him. A vet patched him up and he survived.

I also had the opportunity to meet some truly lovely pitbulls... they are demanding dogs and it’s the owner who is to blame. Really sorry about your cat, these things should never happen.

Unhappy

I just looked into this thread to wish you my condolences on the hard loss of your feline friend. Yes lots of pitbulls are dangerous. I don't want to start a debate on that, bit I can say that one of the sweetest dogs I ever met was a pitbull. Anyway, take it easy, remember the good times with your cat and hold that in your memory. I'm sure you gave your pet a good life. Let us share your burden just by being here for you if you do wish to share.
