FWIW, own personal experience with a Pure Mini equipped guitar was that it was way too muddy and bassy with a Baggs PADI set flat, and I never could get full satisfaction with the EQ controls. On the other hand, the same rig sounded fine with a Fishman Platinum Pro EQ preamp (set flat) or run directly to the line input of my Fishman SoloAmp. All three devices claim a 10Mohm input impedance. Go figure.

It should be mentioned that several forum members have claimed good results with a Pure Mini/PADI combo. I donít discount the possibility that their particular guitar/PM rig was way different than mine and/or their taste in tone is way different. Itís also possible that they were more adept at using the PADIís EQ section.
